I think it's safe to say October is shopping month. Besides the Diwali shopping I also start shopping for cardigans and light weight jackets for the season and I've always felt this is the best time to stock up. And since I'm already in that mood, I was pretty excited when the folks at BonusBay contacted me and told me about their website. BonusBay, just as the name suggests, is a place to earn bonuses when you shop! I of course had to put this to the test myself and so giving myself a budget (4,000/-) to spend on a full look, including accessories.
I made sure to stick to my budget and spent nothing above 4,000/- for this entire look (yes I scoured through all the sale sections at my favourite websites!) and I'm pretty happy with what I chose - which is a pretty bandeau maxi by Dorothy Perkins. Since the colours were a bit muted, I wanted accessories that not only complimented the look but also stood out as well. So I picked pink and teal as a colour combination and picked additional accessories in that colour scheme - including the flats and jewelry.

I'm currently waiting for my stuff to reach me, and since it's the holidays, it will be a while, but till then, you can sign up on Bonusbay and get an extra 250/- as a welcome bonus.
Logging on the the website is a piece of cake. You just have to make an account and register your email id and you're good to go. BonusBay is affiliated with a number of e-commerce websites and in order to earn your bonus, you have to make sure whenever you visit these pages, you do it via Bonusbay so that you can earn your bonus.
Once you earn a bonus of 1,000/-, they make a payment to you, directly to your bank account. Each shopping destination has a different association with Bonusbay, some with a 5% bonus, others with a fixed rate of 250/- it all depends from store to store and the amount you purchase from each.
Also I have to mention that Bonusbay is not only affiliated with fashion related websites, but a number of other genres like travel. electronics, food & drink to name a few. So it's not only meant for shoes enthusiasts like me, but even my dad who visits flipkart can benefit equally from it.
Also here's a tiny update on my bonus. I managed a small amount of 349/- after my purchases. While this might be a considerably small amount, over a period of time, I know it's something I will appreciate and I can treat myself to a bag or a pair of shoes with the same amount accumulated by the end of the month (at the rate at which I'm going)
