Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.
- Søren Kierkegaard
What I considered fashionable last year, has been buried deep into my closet. The souls of those poor clothes are begging to see the light of day. Why do we do this to ourselves? Why set trends that will eventually fade out or be very 'passé' 6-8 months later? Why invest or spurge on something that seems to be the hottest trend of the day, when you secretly know that it won't last for long?
Would I wear those again? I don't think so. But I decided to upgrade that same look and make it relevant to not only today's trends, but wear-ability as well. The only repeat in the look, is sadly the shoes.
I chose an old neutral tee with a baroque print, teamed with a light pastel midi skirt that I picked up recently.Since I love my contrasts so much, I decided to throw in my newly acquired skull studded bag and a last minute addition was the skull bracelet, just for kicks.
When you look back, do you see any change in yourself from last year? How will you improve your wardrobe?
