Last month when I went to the ONLY Spring /Summer collection preview, I was floored by most of their stuff. But what really caught my eye was this heart print shirt. I even joked about how it should come to the stores in the month of Feb, just in time for Valentine's day, which they assured me it would. Also I'm the type of person who finds these kind of things really clichéd. But then I got thinking, how can you wear a heart print shirt? Heart print as you know was a bit of a rage in the Burberry autumn/winter collection. I wanted to see how many ideas I could come up with.
Denims could be the most classic way to wear this print. I think there really are endless ways to team these two together. It was hard to come up with just 3!
What I picked - A pair of well fitted denims, a denim skirt with an edgy style and finally a denim on denim ensemble.
Tee - thrifted | shirt, denims, bag - Only | Wedges - Forever 21 | Shades - Splash | Neckpiece - Blur
Shirt and skirt - Only | Wedges and neck piece - thrifted | Animal print belt - Vero Moda
Denim shirt and shades - thrifted | Skirt - Zara | Sneaker wedges - Forever 21 | Belt - Pieces

Heart print can be perceived as something that can be too girly. So leather can come in real handy to add some badassery to your otherwise "girly" outfit.
What I picked - A low waist leather skirt, a pair of leggings with leather panels and a skirt with a faux leather trim.
Leather skirt - Zara | Bralet - Ann Summers | Bag - Only | Belt - Pieces | Black spike bracelet - Bangkok | Skull bracelet - thrifted | Boots - c/o Alberto Torresi
Leggings with leather panels - HongKong | Neckpiece and bag - thrifted | Boots - c/o Alberto Torresi
Skirt - Persunmall | Gold spike bracelet - Bangkok | Neck piece - c/o Pieces | Shoes - La Judi
Soo many people shy away from wearing what they think would be too bold for them. That's where neutrals come in. Usually I stick to tans and beiges when trying to add neutral elements, but there's black and white here as well.
What I picked - A black lace skirt, a pair of well fitted cigarette pants and a white blazer.

Lace skirt- Tailored | Neck piece - thrifted | belt - Forever New | Watch - Guess | Shoe - thrifted
Beige pants - Vero Moda | Clutch bag - Youshine | Owl neck piece - Forever 21 | Owl clasp - Accessorize | wedges - thrifted
Blazer - Only | Jeggings - Marks & Spencer | Bag - Pieces | neck piece - thrifted | Animal print shoes - Carlton London

When colour blocking became a huge trend in the fashion world, most Indians did not bat an eye, because guess what? we have been doing it for years already. Look at our Indian wear and all those crazy colour combinations! We own this trend!
What I picked - A pair of purple pants, a bright blue asymmetrical dress and a bright 'in your face' yellow skirt.

Purple pants - Vero Moda | Snakeskin sling bag - Zara | Heels - Steve Madden | neck pieces - thrifted
Asymmetrical dress and belt -Vero Moda | Envelope sling - Cupidity | Heels - Steve Madden | neckpiece - thrifted
Yellow tube top worn as skirt, neck piece and heels - thrifted | bag - Toteteca | bracelets - Splash and Pieces

I wouldn't advice following this, because not many people can pull this off. It takes real confidence and some amount of pizzazz to pull off something like this.
What I picked - A pair of tropical printed drawstring pants, an Eiffel tower dress - because you know, Paris - city of love - hearts, etc. and a galaxy print skirt.
Printed pants - Only | bag - Pieces | shoes - Springbreak | neck piece - thrifted
Eiffel tower dress and neck piece - thrifted | Belt - Motivi | Shoes - Aldo
Galaxy print skirt - Vero Moda | Bag - Pieces | Neck piece - AddOns | Wrist cuff - FabAlley| Shoes - Aldo
