Black & Gold

Keeping in mind with the festivities of the season, Happy Diwali to everyone.
Today was a hectic day. Running between two different pujas at both my offices to fittings for a shoot that's going to keep me occupied for the next whole week, this mini last minute shoot was a small breather for me.
Also baring in mind that it is the festival of light, we decided to have only natural light while shooting. So we had the street light outside my house, light from the diyas and the sparklers of course! However with low light, pictures always tend to come out blurred, but I think we managed a few nice ones!

My love for all things baroque might come as a surprise to you, but ever since I saw glimpses of McQueen's and Balmain's black and gold creations (Fall 2010) I was hooked.
And then two years later, Dolce & Gabbana starts it all over again!

Black and Gold FTW!

It was somewhere around that time, that I picked up my own Indian version of it. All black with some gold thread work. I was sold when I saw the back!
