I'm off on holiday!

Ok so tonight I'm off to Hong Kong and then to Bangkok! So excited! My sister and myself will travel from here and meet my aunt and cousin in Hong Kong (they're flying over from Dubai)

So I'm going to shop a lot (hopefully) as I'm travelling very light, if you know what I mean!
I have been to Bangkok 5-6 years ago, and I loved it then, and now that I've grown up a little more and I am more into fashion and other stuff, I'm gonna go totally bonkers there!!

I'll share a few pictures from my last trip!

Tuk tuk ride with my dad and sister

When we get tired browsing through (we just plonk ourselves on the side-walk)

Animal lovers like me can have a blast if they go to the right places..

My sister got molested by a monkey! LMAO

Only in Bangkok right?

Frog lady - as my sister and me refer to her till date!

Family picture!

This was the time when both my sister and me were going through our punk rock phase, hence the band tees, the ripped jeans and everything..
I got those purple things in my hair on one of the streets, and I had them for over 2 months!

Cant wait to go back, click new pictures and share them with you guys! This time I promise no more band tees from both of us!

Aldo Spring 2012 Campaign

We'd all be lying if we do not admit what an important role Aldo plays in our lives! Whether you're a fan of the shoes, or bags or accessories, you know you love the brand!

Well I do too.. Whenever I see the store, I just have to browse through. No trip to the mall is ever complete!

Don't you just love the video??

Cannes Fashion round-up (so far)

Irina Shayk in smashing red Roberto Cavalli gown complete with a thigh high slit.. She competed her look with de Grisogono jewelry, which I have to admire (love those earrings, and wish I had a close-up of her wrist!)

Cassie in Roberto Cavalli gown with a dramatic train and an even more dramatic hair-do! Which I have to say calls for some serious minus points!

Diane Kruger in custom made Nina Ricci white gown with a Judith Leiber clutch. The guy next to her is her beau Joshua Jackson in head-to-toe black Lanvin.

Karolina Kurkova in a Roberto Cavalli Fall 2012 mermaid gown fully embroidered with black paillettes and a leather strap.

Kelly Brook in a stunning dress by The Blondes entirely covered with multi-coloured crystals and with a plunging neckline. Good thing she kept the jewelry minimal.

Caroline Sieber in an Alessandra Rich blue micro paillette column dress. A black satin clutch, matching pumps and Chopard jewels provided the finishing touches.

Erin Wasson in a strapless multi-colour paillette and beaded fringe silk crepe-de-Chine Oscar de la Renta column gown was teamed with a Chopard necklace.

Anne Consigny in Alexia Mabille minus the big head corsage (thankfully!)
Anne Consigny again a pale pink Alexis Mabille gown that very same evening.. If you look closely you will notice she wore them in the order of how they appeared on the runway!

Eva Longoria in an Emilio Pucci white silk plunging gown with sheer geometric inserts. However this outfit needed a small pop of color somewhere.

Naomi Watts in a drop-waist floral print and lace-accented dress with black sequin embellishmentsand a black collarless blazer with a gold-beaded trim all by Roberto Cavalli. A black crystallized clutch and gold ankle-strap sandals provided the finishing touches.

Kylie Minogue in a military green Emilio Pucci dress. Have to say, I love the pop of pink on her nails!

Diane Kruger in Vivienne Westwood custom fully-sequined strapless gown with a waist narrowing built-in corset, giving it a stunning silhouette, completed with a Jimmy Choo clutch and diamond drop earrings.

Asia Argento in a Givenchy  tulle open back dress embroidered with matte brown crocodile scales and studs was worn with a large brown crocodile belt and styled with slicked back hair.
Although I have to say, this dress doesn't do her figure any good!

Marta Gastini in an Alberta Ferretti white bustier gown with a satin bodice, and chiffon skirt with a draped detail from the waist was styled with stunning diamond jewels and a matching clutch.. Looked a little too bridal for me!

Cheryl Cole in a Stéphane Rolland Spring 2012 Couture gown. However there was a lot of clash of the reds here.. Would have been better if instead of red, the feathers were purple, pink or black.

Erin Wasson in an Antonio Berardi flowing silk chiffon rise-and-fall light blue gown, decorated with scattered ruby leather petals completed with Chopard jewelry.

Milla Jovovich in an Atelier Versace lime green fully-beaded one shoulder gown with deep cutouts and Swarovski details. A Versace light gold leather clutch and gold Gucci sandals adorned with a gilded tiger head ornament from the spring 2012 collection completed her look

Naomi Watts in a Gucci cocktail dress which had a pale grey iridescent paillette top and a pale grey-to-lilac degrade ostrich feathered skirt which was accented with an iridescent Swarovski crystal embroidered low-waisted belt, styled with diamond Chopard jewels, Gucci champagne satin evening clutch and matching champagne satin peep toe high heeled evening sandals.

Salma Hayek in a midnight blue strapless cocktail Gucci dress which was fully embellished with paillettes and enriched with three dimensional floral embroidered details at the neckline and around the waist. Blue peep-toes, a matching clutch and a statement necklace with blue stones completed her look. However I find her too busty for this dress.

Jessica Chastain in a flowy chiffon Gucci Première gown with gold embellishments cascading down the dress. Pretty gown, but a very bad pose! Of course the wind might have caught her while she was taking a step forward, but being photographed with your legs slightly apart - not good!

Mia Wasikowska in a J. Mendel Fall 2012 gown. Love the wine color but I would have loved to see a statement neckpiece or choker on that plunging neckline.

Berenice Bejo in a modified Prada piece (see below) I find it quirky and cute..

Leila Bekhti in a Carven Fall 2012 skirt with navy peep toes

Charlotte Casiraghi in a Gucci Fall 2012 dress with Cartier jewels. Her forest green gown with ruffles cascading down the skirt and around the neckline was teamed with a black and gold clutch, plus gold peep-toes.

Marta Gastini in head to toe Marni with a signature eclectic Marni necklace with resin beads and a black satin tie fastening and U-shaped, wood-sculptured heels and a tan fold-over clutch.

Jada Pinkett Smith in Emilio Pucci custom strapless beaded gold gown with lace inserts which gave the look a patchwork effect.

Diane Kruger in Jason Wu navy asymmetrical draped chiffon gown with an embroidered Chantilly lace tromp l’oeil slip underlay and an embellished collar was teamed with simple black sandals, diamond encrusted earrings and a black diamante Judith Leiber embellished clutch.

Bella Heathcote in Gucci black halter gown with a gold print. Bulgari jewels and a black Gucci clutch completed her look.

Jessica Chastain in Armani Privé strapless gown with Chopard earrings and metallic gold Jimmy Choo ‘Greta’ platform sandals. Love the red lip shade!

Natasha Poly in a plunging emerald green gown  by Gucci completed with emerald de Grisogono earrings. Again, wish she wore something around her neck!

Gemma Arterton in Gucci fully-beaded silver gown with organza straps. Another beautiful woman in a gown that does her figure no good.

Jane Fonda in a Roberto Cavalli custom red sequined long-sleeve gown teamed with ruby Chopard jewels. I can find nothing wrong here!

Naomi Watts in Marchesa feather embellished dress in all girly glam! A silver embellished clutch and a Chopard white diamond collar necklace completed her look.

Paz Vega in a Stéphane Rolland black and white gown with a keyhole bodice and skirt with a dramatic feathered train was accented with a gold waistband. I have to say Paz wears it better than the model on the ramp!

Jada Pinkett Smith in a orange fully-embellished gown with a gold metal crescent-shaped bodice and a thigh-high split Atelier Versace gown. Gold accessories including Jimmy Choo ‘Suki’ sandals and Lana jewelry complement her gown.

Freida Pinto in an Atelier Versace  lime gown with a lace top and Swarovski crystallized skirt with a thigh-high split and double gold-lined sculptured detail on the hip. A Ferragamo gold box clutch and satin Ferragamo peep-toes completed the look.

Salma Hayek in a Gucci Premiere – the collection which was made for her, gown in shades of chocolate brown with a fully-beaded bodice and ombre chiffon skirt. Her accessories included a champagne colored satin clutch and gold jewels including a wristlet.

Jessica Chastain in a Dolce & Gabbana sleeveless sheath dress. What I love about this is that it is so easy and you will definitely find a nice floral high street dress to imitate this one.
Jane Fonda in an intricately woven bronze metal Atelier Versace gown with a delicately pleated hem and train. She completed her look with a metallic Versace clutch, Chopard jewels and peep-toe heels.

Jada Pinkett-Smith in a pretty Alberta Ferretti chiffon gown that complimented her skin tone very well. Love how she kept it simple with a single gold cuff.

Lana Del Rey in a a Moschino ivory single-breasted suit with an 18k white gold Chopard necklace and earrings with heart-shaped rubellite tourmalines.

Zhou Xun in a Chanel Spring 2010 Couture blue-and-white ombre dress with sheer inserts was styled with a white Chanel clutch and silver metallic peep-toes. She accessorized with Chanel 18k white gold and diamond jewels including ‘Camélia brodé’ earrings and a ‘Dentelle de Camélia’ cuff.

Eva Longoria in an  Emilio Pucci  LBD which had sheer inserts which featured on many pieces within this collection.
Fan Bingbing in a floral chiffon Valentino Couture dress with pretty floral prints and bow accent. A top knot, coral lip colour and Ferragamo clutch completed her look.

Jane Fondawith in Stella McCartney black-and-white long sleeve dress was styled with a beautiful Roger Vivier green embellished clutch which complemented her Chopard emerald drop earrings.

Melissa George  in a Calvin Klein Spring 2012 dress. Not a big fan of the sheerness + the exposed bra sort of thing. Wish she wore some jewelry too. And I have to say something about the length too. It looks fine for the runway, however for a 'normal' girl is should have been hemmed so as to avoid looking a bit stumpy!

Fan Bingbingwith in an Elie Saab  gown complete with a cape. Dazzling Chopard jewels and an embellished Ferragamo box clutch completed her look.

Marion Cotillard in a Christian Dior dress. The peachy short-sleeve dress with a textured bodice and floaty chiffon skirt has been lined from the sheer version that took the runway and her look was completed with pale-lemon Versus patent leather slingbacks from the Spring 2012 collection.

Eva Longoria in a breathtaking Alberta Ferretti Fall 2012 gown with tulle and laces with black pumps and a white clutch which completed her look.

Fan Bingbing in an ivory embroidered Christopher Bu strapless gown. The green accents on her gown were complemented with emerald Chopard jewels and a green-and-gold Elie Saab clutch. Without sounding racist, I say she looks like a very delicate and dainty piece of China. Love it! Also Fan’s hair is a symbol of the Tang dynasty’s noble women and the gown has embroideries which tells the stories of the four beauties of ancient China.

Diane Kruger in a Giambattista Valli aqua silk draped one-shoulder gown completed with silver jewels and a Judith Leiber streamline frosted Lucite clutch.

Freida Pinto in Micheal Angel  styled with bejeweled Louis Vuitton lizard miniaudiere which complemented the bodice of her dress plus shimmering silver Louis Vuitton platform sandals is stunning.
