Kate's dress

Kate, now officially Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge —  wowed the world with her elegant and superbly feminine Alexander McQueen wedding dress. The ivory duchesse satin and hand-embroidered lace dress fit Kate perfectly. Here is a close-up view of her stunning wedding ensemble — from the lace on her veil to the pleats in the satin.

A purported team of 60 worked on the hand-embroidered lace on Kate's dress

We love the tailoring of the duchesse satin.

Her tiara was made by Cartier in 1936 and presented to Queen Elizabeth on her 18th birthday.

The veil had lace trim.

Her train was long, but not excessive

Pippa's dress was also made by Alexander McQueen.

Kate looked ethereal and elegant.

A view from the front. Total elegance.
